That's what I read it as too, but it makes zero sense from what I know about Chinese, and the fact that it's 4 words long makes me think it's supposed to be pronounced as Kanji

After some googling, Bencao gangmu is a thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bencao_Gangmu?oldid=494132841

So I decided with bencao_gangmu, if there's any better name then I'll ask mod to rename it.
