It wouldn't work. Remember, ONE made Genos a cyborg because he wanted someone who could be used to show the sheer amount of carnage a Demon-rated threat could dish out, and yet at the same time not have the target (Genos) be permanently disabled.

Seeing Genos mauled every time is bad enough, and you want to turn over his gender too? That would open a whole lot of unfortunate implications that ONE might not be capable of handling, the satirical nature of One-punch man notwithstanding.

That's not the real Tatsumaki. She's dead in the last arc against the real "The world is danger prophecy" monster. To appease Saitama's wrath the Hero Association via ZombieMan asked Dr.Genus to create her clone with suitable personality (and proportions), so that he will settle as family, and become the HA's spearhead for any upcoming danger.

to be fair there could be an arc/episode where genos just wquipped a female body for a day
after all being somewhere along the lines of 95% + synthetic makes such altrerations possible and easy

heck id argue that one could skip the awkward "fitting in" part and just go wild with the comedy that could erupt with genos overacting the part
