Not quite.... Humans has modified themselves to such a point that they are more "machine than man." Come the time ZX, cyborgs are VERY common and mostly indistinguishable from pure humans (now a rare breed). On top of this, reploids are beyond common place out numbering even the cyborg trans-humans, with so much technical complexity that they might as well be human.
It's not that they interbreeded (which is physically impossible), more like displaced or obsoleted... Being just a human in the world of ZX just doesn't cut it anymore (something that was hinted at during the Zero-saga).
