There has got to be an HMS Zubian reference here.

Don’t forget about the longest ship in the world, the USS Pittsburgh.

    Who needs bows!

    What are you doing Shiranui?
    Homework?
    Stop it
In the end, my bow was sunk, while my stern section was towed to Maizuru. I arrived on September 3, and in November 15 of the following year, my recovery was completed.
Why the heck would you represent it like that?
Just like a scene out of Drag●nball
Akashi-san is drawn looking like a mad scientist *sweat*
Showa 19 (1944) January 16 Amatsukaze was hit by an American submarine's torpedo right in her midsection. The bow section was lost.
Showa 18 (1943) January 19 Akizuki was hit by an American submarine's torpedo
This is supposed to be our little sister?
    Take my head!!
    I'm starting the operation now
Why the heck do you use such a depiction of a shipgirl to illustrate your point?
Akizuki's stern section arrived at the Mitsubishi Nagasaki shipyard without further incident.
After being towed to Singapore, a temporary bow and temporary bridge was installed...
    Hey, don't ignore me?
    I'm here for repairs...
As a stopgap measure, Akashi-san made emergency repairs, but in the end, due to insufficient hull integrity, the bow and stern sections had to be separated
    Temporary
The stern section was capable of self-propulsion, so a temporary bow and bridge were installed...
Akizuki-san's little sister, Shimotsuki-san, currently under construction
    Onee-chan!?
The younger sister's bow was cut off and attached to Akizuki-san, who was restored without further problems.
    Temporary
Wha- what the hell is this
I'm doing research on historical records on torpedo damage...
Showa 17 (1942), July 5 During the Kiska reinforcement operation, I was hit by a torpedo from an American submarine and my hull was bent like the character "く".
On that day, Arare and Kasumi were also hit by torpedoes, and Arare was sunk
At that time my DesDiv 18 was operating separately from the rest of the fleet
    Bow
    Stern
A ratio of approximately 3:7 (between bow and stern)
In order for the tugboat to tow me, my bow and stern sections were cut off, but if you represented this situation as a shipgirl, it would look like this
