Well if it's the same setup as in the manga, then the existence of Vampire's mental model itself would cause enough of a burden on Repulse's processing ability to result in impaired judgement.

Except the manga had it result in excessive shyness rather than complete abandoned judgement as here. Plus, Vampire had timed it to the second here.

You're definitely remembering the manga wrong though, Repulse was shy to begin with. Vampire having a mental model did not cause that Shyness. It was that shyness that caused Repulse to order Vampire to create a mental model to begin with (having to use Repulse's own processing power to make up for what Vampire would lack as a destroyer) to meet Komaki Daisaku, and during that meeting Vampire was the one who stated how her existence was straining Repulse to the point of navigating like she was drunk.
Cruncyroll's Ch. 57 translation:
Vampire: My flagship has used 24.5823% of her processing power to give me a mental model and send me here as a messenger. Her processing power is currently at its limits and has put her under considerable strain. It's not as easy for her as it is for a high flagship. Daisaku: I see... Vampire: Constructing her ship and controlling its basic movements was enough to mess her up. To be honest, if she'd come herself, she wouldn't have had to lend me any processing power and then wound up staggering around like a drunk with a nasty hangover. She got what she deserves, don't you think?
