    Ikazuchi is reliable, isn't she?

On other note, isn't fireman carry harder to perform than princess carry? How Akatsuki pull it off?

it's way easier, your not constantly trying to keep your arms up in a princess carry when your load is on your shoulders. better to be pushed down that constantly pulling up

We are talking about a ship girl who can swing an anchor easily while our muscled admiral can't.

That sounds reasonable. Last time when I was learning some first aid tricks, I was taught fireman carry and I have difficulty doing it, probably because I lack of exercise.

    Totally make sense.

Human anatomy - especially the way collar bone is constructed - promotes carrying weight on back. You know, the handiest thing to have, when you want to carry some things? Backpack.

That's how South Americans carried their grains, too. Myth tells they didn't knew wheel - that's just completly missing the point. They knew about wheel. It just didn't made sense to pull or push things on wheels - human is not build for such work. Horse, mule - yes, but not human. Thus no wheels for spaniards to see.

Uhhh, no, no it totally absolutely 100% makes sense. A human can move a heavier load over a much longer distance using much less effort via a cart then he could ever hope to carry. This is just plain common sense, it's why you use a dolly to move a fridge or a handcart to hold all the crap while you're going around stocking shelves. Now if you HAVE pack animals that's vastly preferable to use, but hand carts are a thing all over the world for a reason.

It's not like the mechanical advantage provided by wheels suddenly goes way when you move from horse to human power.

Not to mention that the incredibly jagged and mountainous bits of South America -not to mention the swamps and marshes- aren't exactly conducive to a wheeling-dealing enterprise.

It's not like those lands were ALL mountains, or that 'mountain' automatically equals 'jagged cliff with foot wide path' either. Nor was it like most of the population lived on jagged slopes or in remote valleys for obvious reasons.

It's fine to rely on me!
That would be the most dangerous thing to do right now.
And Ikazuchi's about to arrive anyway, so I'm fine, really.
Where the heck is she arriving from!?
    Eh?
Can you manage by yourself? I can at least help carry her, okay?
You don't get it, do you?
