That's the thing, shinto "purity" doesn't have much to do with morality. It's more about being away from birth, life or death.

Purity doesn't mean what you think it means.
Pure beings don't ages and are technically eternal. That's what Toyosatomimi and Tenshi tried to achieve, in different ways. But then again, there's Kaguya, who's too pure and cannot die even if you kill her.
It's complicated, a bit philosophical, and pretty much bullshit, but the point is : Yorihime is a cutie.
