Last time I experience getting buried with leaves was last fall at it was itchy.
Flower petals are much softer than leaves, so this might not be as bad.
On another note, it seems everyone on this page has their own personal gift: Haruna has her cushion, Wo-class has her ribbon (which Hisahiko-san only needed one re-draw of the first panel to remember), Katsuragi has her Kaga-scented blanket, and I suspect that canteen in panel 1 is the same as the one Haruna gave the I-class as a souvenir after her overnight visit to Wo-class's home.
