Had back surgery, and after the operation I was required to have a catheter. Twice the catheter seemed to summon some horrendous pain - and I was on morphine during this time and the pain from my privates felt worse than the wound in my back. Then came the removal of the catheter, which was a quick burst of searing pain.
If the pain from kidney stones is worse than that... I don't even want to imagine it.
