"Being a simple doodle does not means that it should be deleted. Get out flagger." I mean... By definition, a doodle is usually the opposite of "high quality art" which is what this website is supposed to be a repository for.
Still, absolutely love the abrasive tone with which flaggers are constantly addressed within abusive appeals or the comments of a flagged post like we murdered your family or something because we dared to flag a post.

I specially hate it when they just respond "lol, as if you could do better", completely missing the point. And it's even worse when you can ACTUALLY draw better, like in this case.

Danbooru is just another dumpster.
"As if you could do better" or the good old "There's worse things on the website." Thing is silly doodles like this end up getting approved and defended just because they're from a famous artist and/or they have some form of humor in it, so no matter the actual artistic value it gets approved, unless those are supposed to be factored in the artistic merit of a picture. ie some of Peachems's posts on this website are 5 minutes doodles/comics which, while they're entertaining, don't really belong on a "high quality anime art repository"; unlike some of his stuff which is perfectly fine art-wise.
We do have exceptions, things like oekaki have traditionally had the caveat that they are sketches/doodles
Whether or not a doodle, at least to me, is acceptable is whether or not its interesting, funny, or at least looks like something more than chickenscratch.
@Saladofstones I completely agree with this, so I wanted to ask this: While I didn't flag this post, I remember the text of the appeal. "Get out flagger" isn't really polite, so should the howto:comment also apply with appeals and flags? Simply because it also serves as some kind of communication and aggressive appeals/flags will lead to more arguing in the comments.

People need to chill
Yeah, I suppose. I will probably just drop flagging altogether anyway. Not worth the hassle of getting flamed at majority of the time you dare to flag one picture that you think should go through the queue (again).

I think it should, but this is nothing official.
Flags, especially lately, are naturally contentious. Some people take it more personally, and it becomes an avenue for passive-aggressive slights at different people.
Even if a flag seems to have a poor reason, just state why you think it should be re-approved, not why the flag reason is bullshit.

Aren't the identities of flaggers still hidden?
Maybe creating a forum topic about the howto:comment wiki should be created. Or we create a wiki page for flags and appeals. Something like "howto:flag".
And yes, the identities are hidden unless the flagger reveals their name like in post # 384628.
