I voted for "when the transportation breaks down"... AND it looks like Kogasa had yet to realize she's a Yuki-Onna who can't escape the snowstorm she's called on Hokkaido.

Today's survey was almost canceled owing to bad weather:
What would trouble you on a trip? • The shop I'd planned to visit is closed • Transportation facilities aren't running • Illness or accident • Budget deficit • My work's followed me!
I am wondering if in the future somewhere they will complete the JR Shinkansen line between Hokkaido and mainland. That would save a lot of trouble with travelling no? Or would that be futile during blizzard/snow storm?
I would think they'd have to run a tunnel or something - and that's not something I'd want to be in during an earthquake. A bridge would almost be as bad.
Guess that this story happens before the opening of that Shinkansen line? Or that they stopped running the trains too?
Kamui 4 was this February; the extension opened a month later. Also, it's as far as Hakodate but not yet all the way to Sapporo (where the event was) - until 2030 or so, flying Sapporo↔Tokyo is usually still faster, unless you have Kogasa Luck™.

I think, with Kogasa Luck, taking the train was the best idea she never thought of. But then the story would be about a miraculously stopped train....
Kogasa-san has suffered a flight cancellation owing to a blizzard...It was a tour package, so I'll have to line up at the counter...Long!?I still haven't reached the counter...It appears disruption of air travel will also continue into tomorrow.

1.5 hours later...I'm hungry...And our forecast is that the influence of the low pressure system assaulting Hokkaido today will continue into tomorrow.
