We had a perfect many things fab but you'd be surprised at just how much of a stick in the mud that guys who are on a cartoon porn site can be. You'd thinm a site devoted to indulging your pleasures and the worship of beauty would be the last place where you'd find "no fun allowed" guys, but no.

Apparently, there were some guys who had been saying to take them down for years. Like, seriously, what has to go wrong in your life that you're seriously campaigning against a porn pool? It's like something out of South Park

I don't know what the problem was with just using blacklist tags and ignoring the rest. Sure this isn't a hentai site, but then again this definitely isn't a site for minors. Seems like a big waste to lose all that pooling data that people sorted out just because some admin didn't want to blacklist the sexual tags.

I recall that it was done because the pools were becoming just a second tag for their contents; that is basically any approved image with an exposed ass in it was in consideration to be "good enough" to go in the Perfect Ass pool and it began to cause problems with users fighting each other for how high a standard the pool had for entry.

The ones that remain were left 1) to appease the whiners and 2) because they represent things that are harder to draw accurately than a couple semicircles (exaggeration, but still).

You make the assumption that they were targeted because the pools themselves were the issue and not the users (your reference about having a "wrong life" fits here) that obsessed and bickered constantly about what should and shouldn't be allowed in them. This problem will always exist with subjective pools of this nature; I find these feet quite not-perfect with the lack of a clearly defined heel or ball, but I tend to keep myself spaced from those arguments for that very reason.
