Girls should know that guys collect porn. It's not just for us, but for others who like the same thing. Just because they become someone's girlfriend doesn't make them have to stop looking and collecting.
No matter how skilled the translator is, it's difficult to translate the various tones we use when speaking. For example, if I write "Yeah, like THAT makes sense..." you can almost hear the sarcasm, but someone translating that into Japanese would have to fudge it and pick something similarly sarcastic in Japanese. It never quite matches, so it ends up sounding bland.
If you mean the Japanese itself, it's bland and cheesy because the stuff on Danbooru is mostly amateur/Comiket work. You're not gonna find the next Pulitzer Prize winner around here.
