    This comes full circle and is kinda hilarious in hinsight in relation to this doujin. Feels like the author was setting up for this one entire scene.

    So food for thought is that the immortals are just looping back over and over again. Which begs the question of how many imperishable nights they have lived through.

    I'd imagine that he was setting up for this one moment indeed. And is executing it perfectly.
