I question some people's understanding of "quality." Just because it's not an elaborate, nearlife painting or super-over-filtered photoshop job doesn't make it "poor quality."

I'm pretty sure this is not the sort of image you want to choose as the hill you want to die on. This is practically "15 minutes in MS Paint" level quality. The best I can say for it is that, unlike some artists, this guy actually knows how to keep the fill tool inside the lines without leaving TOO many white jaggies.

Be that as it may it is still a clean picture without any outstanding flaws or obvious artistic errors, if it's got any problems, it's that its a simplistic art style.

... Yyyyeah, an art style that severely negatively impacts its quality. Just saying "art style" isn't a defense against bad quality. If I pulled out some of the crap I drew when I was in elementary school with stick figure ninja turtles, and called it an "art style", that wouldn't excuse the shit quality art style.

Setz draws some really dynamic and neat-looking pictures in that cartoony style of his, though. This artist's posts look more like a beginner trying to experiment with style before moving onto anything serious.
