I'm totally finished myself, having only 1600 fuel left. I got Kamikaze though, so I'm not too sad. Considering I only started the event yesterday with 27000 fuel, I'm actually kinda proud of myself.

Ooh I started in a similiar situation. With 25000 - 20000 Baux - 26000 Steel~ - 46000 Ammo. Cleared E1 to E5 on hard, went E6 and E7 on Easy. Currently trying to farm Yuus, since I have no WGs.
I'd like to try E6/E7 on Medium but it would take too much time so I just wiped E6 on Easy like nothing E7 is worse but it's not like anything hard. I kind of feel bad for doing this maps on Easy but well I want to farm for some other ships so I don't really care about doing that last two maps on Easy. I will give my best to prepare for summer good enough to do whole event on Hard cause now I found again joy of playing this game.
Was Live Streaming earlier... Failed hard again...
To think that even Shinhwalee has it hard...... It's expected I can't make it then. Not with this fleet with too many under leveled members and shitty (not so much) equipment.

E7 easy is kinda easier than E6 easy though. I cleared that with CTF and 3 LBAS in boss node without need for aerial support. That 3rd base really helps alot.

If we were talking about hard mode though, E-7 hard's last dance is pretty nightmarish considering its a full boss composition. LBAS makes it certainly doable, but it takes a lot of good rolls to get the kill there. Though I went easy mode as well (heh), a few of my colleagues figured I could have definitely attempted hard mode like them.
Resource costs of that though... well, its not something I wanted to deal with after E-6 hard cockblock...

How can you know that E7 is easy than E6 if nothing you can do even get that E6 boss down to 10HP?

Because E7 give you the option to use LBA, which E6 didnt. Many frontliners have been smashing themselves against the wall that is E6 because, at that time, devs have said NOTHING about the debuff mechanism. And killing Central Hime in E6 pretty much relied on aerial bombardment from boss support expedition, and Zuiun nuke for those who are daring. One argument against E7 being easier than E6 is the motherfucking Hime Festival.
YMMV, etc...
Bad communication on devs' part have been one of the bad points of this event. They SHOULD HAVE told players about debuff. Or at least hint it. Not waiting for enough players to complain about E6 till they had to apologize about it on the emergency maintenance.
EDIT: months ago, I have seen players WISHING for the hardest event ever with *drumrolls* The Hime Festival, they were like, "Bring it on, Tanaka!" or "I want to TASTE THE SALT!". I have fucking told them to be careful of what they wish. Event came and here many of those are now crying or grumbling that it is TOO MUCH. And some are not even close to clear it. It's not so funny anymore now that you are on the receiving end, right?

Remember the first event to feature armor debuff? They never confirmed the actual method during the event
Until the interview in magazine, few days after the event ended.
Debuff is always meant to be figured out by players. People are too soft nowadays. Sheesh

It's fine to try and figure it out.
But when they don't even make the boss have some sort of visual cue to say that the debuff worked (and no, a very quiet voice line that isn't even in the boss text doesn't count) then how are players supposed to know how it worked?
There's a difference between giving clues for players to figure stuff out, and giving them absolutely nothing that even so much as hints as there was any sort of debuff mechanism.
For this event, it's like having a test where you only need to do 5 out of 15 to pass, doing it and failing, and the teacher saying "what, you didn't know that doing 3 certain questions on this test and doing another question on a previous test would help modify your last questions so that it'd become a simple pass/fail? Shame on you! You should have figured it out!"
Someone pass me a list of characters from across anime and japanese games who would have a FIELD day over this spectacle.
Off the top of my head: Yuuki Terumi (Blazblue, feeds off hatred) Izanami (Blazblue, all the sinkings/deaths) Junko Enoshima (DanganRonpa, likes despair) Junko (Touhou, purity of negativity) Tretij Rebenok (Metal Gear, such lust for revenge)
