It's a quality control thing. Danbooru has pretty high standards, and the idea is that artists are biased towards their own work. Danbooru is not a site to upload your art to, Danbooru is a site to share cool art with other people on. The website that YOU want is Pixiv. Maybe Deviantart or Tumblr, but probably Pixiv.
