I'm pretty sure they're voicing their outer desires.

I just hope we get to see the lady in a swimsuit, as much as I don't mind the Kiso arc I'm starting to miss the lady of the naval base.

I suspect that the whole reason we have been seeing nothing but Kiso recently is because Ha Akabouzu ran out of material for the 6th Des Div. The joke was essentially stretching the characters further and further from canon with Flanderization and after a while, you just wind up having to one-up yourself with ever-more-insane nonsense (like Hibiki constantly getting more perverted and Akatsuki more violent).

That's what I'm afraid of, but I can't help it when Akatsuki is my favourite girl in KanColle. Let's at least hope she will show up now and then

I think that's the core of his style, really. Looking at the pool, it started with the Abyssals and moved on to the Kongous, etc. He probably does just write panels until he runs out of ideas and then moves on to the next thing. Hopefully that next thing is soon because I'm getting tired of Kiso.

Still, it'd be nice for the 6-ers to cameo.
