Many, many, circles put their new Comiket issues online for sale at Melonbooks and the like; for direct sale (including unsold at the event) after Comiket and/or pre-order before hand; i.e. you can get quite a lot of the popular circles (but usually not the special goods/books) without even having to leave the comfort of your house. Summer comiket is hot.
