OK, guys, seriously, outside of a deliberately sadistic black comedy series, there's zero chance a regularly recurring character in a manga will continue to have bad things happen to them past the scene where they curl up into a ball and say that everything is ruined FOREVER. There's a 90% chance the next strip will be a call for Yamashiro to come back to sortie, and a 10% chance it will be the strip after that, instead. (Cue the eponymous admiral crying when he finds out he hurt one of the girl's feelings.)

You do realize that Rappaya posted that he would be going on a one-month hiatus after this strip?
