The hairband girl looks like Mutsu, but Mutsu is a second year when Kanan, Dia, and Mari are third years, so she can't be her... can she? Come to think of it, is the girl with the bob cut the purple-hair girl from Mutsu's friend group? I thought she was Dia, but the teacher has Dia's mole... how can Dia be an adult when Kanan and Mari are children? Is this a view of the past, or an alternate universe? I'm so confused

The series is more cathartic: purging the soul through pity and terror --- so structure and unity have to recede to second place.
