"After Noire confessed to Neptune, Noire lets slip the fact that Blanc had set everything up for them by leading the others elsewhere. Piecing together the past memories she spent with Blanc, Neptune soon realises that she might have been hurting Blanc emotionally for the past few years. Wanting to clear up her fears, Neptune decides to look for Blanc."

Neptune: Hey, Blanc!

Blanc: Huh...? That's odd... What's wrong Neptune? Did something happen?

Neptune: I'm sorry...

Blanc: Why? You haven't even done anything... Yet...

Neptune: I did! I think I did something bad to you but I didn't even know I was doing it!

Blanc: Slow down, Neptune... I don't know what you're trying to say.

Neptune: Blanc... You know when we finally made a truce?

Blanc: Yes, I remember that but... Why are you asking?

Neptune: You know... When I always used to visit you and we always played games?

Blanc: That was fun... Yes...

Neptune: ...And I always went home when you wanted to talk to me for longer?

[Blanc's face saddens]

Blanc: Ah...

Neptune: There's that face again! I only just remembered not long ago but with everything that happened with Noire it got me thinking... It must have been important right?

[Blanc tears up]

Blanc: Uu...

Neptune: Were you... Trying to confess to me...?

[Blanc attempts to stop crying, but she can't stop the tears falling down her face]

Neptune: No... I knew it! I'm so sorry for not noticing, Blanc! I'm such a horrible person...!

[Neptune tears up herself and hugs Blanc]

Blanc: W-Why the hell are YOU crying?!

Neptune: Because... All that time... All that time I've been hurting you...! I didn't even know I was doing this to you... I feel so guilty for this!

Blanc: Don't be guilty, you idiot...! [Blanc hugs Neptune back]

Neptune: I can't help it! I'm so sorry...!

[Some time passes while the two cry into each other...]

[Neptune wipes away some of her tears, still sniffling a bit]

Blanc: It's too late anyway... It's obvious that you love Noire...

Neptune: But... But I can't help but feel bad for you, Blanc...

[Blanc continues to cry into Neptune, while Neptune tries to comfort her by stroking her hair]

"Should I smile because you're my friend, or cry because that's all you'll ever be?"
