So apparently the fleet is Murakumo, Mutsu, Yamashiro, Fusou, Akagi and Souryu.

I don't play KanColle (want to learn japanese first), but ain't this a pretty strong fleet?

She's the secretary ship - she doesn't appear to be going, as she's standing at his side rather than in line receiving orders.

He did tell them to come back safe. That's pretty much a guarantee that the story will pick up again at a later date.

Six ships make a fleet, counting her out only leaves five. Besides, she's strong enough to go and expect success. :D

She's also the fleet flagship, she's participated in all of kidmiral's operations that I recall. I have no reason to expect her being left out.

Looking at Murakumo's level reminds me of how much fun doing the world 1 and 2 torpedo squadron quests were *after* clearing 3-2 (with the proper preparations) XD

Game system wise, he has not the full Sendai/Kongou set which unlock 3rd and 4th fleets respectively. With only two fleets and only one capable of running expeditions, that makes the first fleet to sortie on battles secretary ship included (first slot/first fleet).

2-4 tends to be the second wall that players have to go through in the game. And while a composition of 3BB/2CV/1DD is pretty damn heavy, RNG can really fuck you up.

But in-game, secretary ship is the first fleet flagship. Meaning, the secretary ship always goes on any non-expedition mission.

While true, alot of Kancolle Comics hardly ever stay "in-game" and from what I've seen. "Secretary" ships are almost always some "Stay at home Waifu" ship that never even goes to Sorties.

I'm honestly surprised the actual game hasn't even made an actual "Secretary" slot with the amount of Doujins that go this waifu route.

For me, there are 2 types of Kancolle Comics. Kancolle "Diary" where it's just the artist going "THIS EVENT IS SO HARD! i GOT NEW RARE DROP!" or the completely fictional one where they tend to be 9/10 times just Harem with barely any Sorties.

Even Kancolle Puchi-kole might as well be Harem.

Well yeah, If u played the game, you already know what's up and like most fanstuff, its nice to see the what's going on in the sides. Harem, or not whatever. Though u have a point, they might as make the Secretary a separate thing than being flagship...maybe one day
