It would defeat the purpose of a jail if they were happy to be there.

Unphased means it doesn't bother them, not that they're unhappy.

Having the fortune and will of never visiting jail myself, I have the concept of jail being a sad place because of the people type being held there and the limitations needed to control such persons. The real purpose is to control antisocial people and maybe (just maybe) reform them to adapt into society, not to make them sad or scare them for life.

A key point here is that Kongou is the one signing the letters of apology.

there are also the people that try to get in on purpose so that they can have food regularly

You know, I wonder why people keep spelling it as "unphased" when it's supposed to be "unfazed."

"Phase" means a stage. Like, "phases of the moon."

"Faze" means to disturb or disconcert. So naturally, "unfazed" would mean not giving a fuck.

I have no idea why people keep writing "unphased" though.

Oh dear. I didn't know it was spelled "fazed".

Time to go shoot myself in the toe.

It's likely the Z in unfazed that throws people, at least the english speakers among us anyways. The zed makes it look much more like an american language spelling than an english one (what with american being a different language to english and all, in the same way that spanish and portuguese are superficially similar but quite different when you get down to it).

Someday, Kongou, Hiei will learn to cook.
Or she'll run out of victims.
The former is unlikely, so it'll be the latter. The expression on your face speaks of, "At least, I'll be the final victim. Will I have to continue signing these in the afterlife?"

Or her cooking will then recognized as weapon of mass destruction and used to eradicate all Abyssals to bring peace back?
