...In an attempt to make peace with Humans and Reploids some far time after the Zero series but before ZX, Humans were forced to have mechanical parts in them and Reploids were forced to have lifespans. So...yeah every human is part machine and ever Reploid has a set lifespan(?) I guess something akin to Megaman 9's plot.
I too first thought she and Vent were pure humans and Giro for that matter but Giro is purely a Reploid, as all Reploids have a red triangle on their foreheads. Humans don't have that. So...from this I guess Aile's ears are mechanical (at least).
