Sometimes is used on coffee and tea to replace sugar, usually when mixed with milk.

In my country there's something called "panela" that we used to sweeten things out too, and we make "aguapanela" that, togheter with cinnamon and honey, is a rather perfect beverage against sore throat.

Honey blends really with quite a few selection of herbal teas actually (specially those that are supposed to help with sore throats and those that help to unblock your respiratory system).
And in winter adding some honey on your herbal tea/infusion (once again depending on what you're actually drinking though) works wonders against colds too.

Honey tastes pretty well in a hot black tea. The issue is that, like with vitamin C, the beneficial effects degrade under high temperature (and in tea it's generally high enough). The honey itself is mostly fine, though.

Also: two tablespoons of white rum, two teaspoons of honey, a generous helping of lemon juice, and a dash (or three) of cinnamon, all added to a mug of strong black tea. Tastes pretty nice.

And on the other end of the line, we know there's a Kirishima who doesn't even question the odd request and just sets out with a sense of purpose.

Honey and tea? I'll have that with ice here.
