@EB I don't believe the PNG hosted on Yandere provides any additional quality. You may notice even as I have they they often upscale images. I noticed this one with an imaged sourced from Pixiv at like 1000px in width where as the version on Yandere which even sourced to Pixiv had the PNG at 1500px in width.

I think personally Yandere should be the last source considered because of their wastefulness in image composition but their PNGs are especially suspect. Not going to flag but I believe this post is identical to its child.

Both this image and the child are sourced from yande.re, but this is the original. Uploading images that have been automatically resized and/or compressed by other image boards is discouraged. In fact, if you attempt to upload the JPEG version directly from yande.re, the original (PNG) version will be fetched. The compression of the JPEG version is not bad, but it still has JPEG artifacts compared to this version of the image if you compare them side by side.
