When he looked back again, there, sitting on the throne, was Lightning. She was not a crystal, but a genuine and real human being. She was wearing a white dress, just like back then in his mansion. She silently stared at him, on her lap laid a dead crow. She looked different than usual in every way: Lighter then a feather, yet larger then the ocean. Just as Noct was about to speak, she made a silent gesture, then she disappeared along with the crow.

Perhaps this is a parting farewell.
