"Bike Girls Club" Interview Series, 1st installment
We ask high school biker girls: "What is the appeal of bikes to girls?"In this first installment which sets out to document girls' motorcycle lives, we have a member of a high school bike club and advocate for the joys of enjoying youth through motorcycles, high school student Amano Onsa to explain all about the appeal of motorcycles.—So first, could you tell us what first got you into riding motorcycles?
Amano-san: Well, my parents' work involves bikes, and I think that being raised in that environment really must be the biggest reason behind it.—Next, please tell us what motorcycle you ride at the moment.
Amano-san: Sure. It's a Yamaha SEROW 225W(*1).—What about it drew your eye?
Amano-san: Well, since I use it for commuting to school, it has to come down to how easy it is to handle and ride, I suppose.—We're told you belong to a bike club at school. What kind of activities do you typically perform?
Amano-san: We don't have a lot of members, so we don't do a lot of the typical club activity stuff at school. All we do in our club room is chat to pass the time, basically.
