Besides, Sazanami is trickster enough to be humiliation-resistant compared to other characters, and went out cosplaying as a miko of her own volition from the start, so telling her to act like a miko isn't going to humiliate her that much.

Don't be calling Reimu Oni Miko - that's a fan creation. Canon Reimu is a bit of a jerk, but she isn't ruthless for its own sake.

Plus, Bono wants proper payment for being forced to do something humiliating - not to make Sazanami feel the same. That's what Akebono seems to be going for here, and she'll make sure she gets every last yen back from Sazanami. It's getting what she's due, and a reminder to avoid going too far for a joke.

So... you say that the reason the "Oni-Miko" stuff has no basis in canon is because she "at least she doesn't rob youkai like a yakuza," then when I give an example of the exact thing you said would have made her an Oni-Miko in canon, it doesn't count because "enh, other people did it, too"?! That just makes "everyone else" in Touhou canon jerks (also correct), not excuse what Reimu did. (She doesn't have nearly enough appearances for "everyone else" to bully her, and she seemed to get along with all the non-"heroines".) In fact, bullying Tokiko only became popular because Reimu did it first. Tokiko's whole existence is based upon Reimu thuggery.
