At this point, I really hope they somehow get a Kirishima drop, and put her in charge of logistics. Murakumo and Akebono are doing their best, but actually planning out resource expenditures seems to be beyond anyone currently at the base. Someone who is actually in charge of decisions like "we will or will not spend fuel/ammo on Guard Duty missions to restore our steel reserve" is badly needed.

Kirishima is traditionally shown as a siscon for Kongou, so that's no good. They need a responsible adult.

So basically, Ooyodo is their only hope.

Forget "someone in charge of mission-related decisions", we need personnel with actual authority to stand guard at the docks and stop any shipgirl who attempts to launch into the sea without the appropiate "this shipgirl has been cleared to go on Mission So-and-So", and if she actually muscles her way through then they'll just report back to the admiral (and there would be video cameras recording the whole thing as evidence).

... Also, I thought he said Hiei isn't going to feature in this chapter after her debut.

I'm pretty sure this is the start of a new chapter, given that it's been a couple weeks since the last update.

Because the person who uploaded it didn't bother, and I have Rappa on my saved searches so I never noticed it missing from the pool.
