Oddly, Chinese games are notable for censoring out any form of undead (especially skeletons) because it goes against their censorship laws against portraying any form of religion the state doesn't expressly permit. (Skeletons are generally changed into skinny, pale dudes.)

That may not necessarily help as dropping the r and pronouncing it "Nigga" is a fairly common variation and just as offensive.

Not as offensive compare to the other, since it's a slang that's been thrown around more often as more colloquial, oppose to being used as hate speech. Although, either way it isn't something you say to people you don't know.
And also, "you" 니가 in Korean is pronounced "Nigga", and there's a gag where a Korean guy is singing a korean song that has a lot of "Nigga" words, and the black guy was chasing the Korean guy if he was about to kill him.
