From the commentary it sounds more like the artist was trying to retouch/improve an old piece from the other guy, but I wouldn't have uploaded it if I had noticed the parent first.

I wouldn't have uploaded it because it looks way too similar to the parent, but I understand from the commentary that the artist did not intend this as "art theft".
