The series starts with her texting that they met up again by accident because they're going to the same college, soon, so it's unlikely. (Who gets married right as they're starting the first semester? At least, you wait until a break in classes to actually prepare a marriage...) A sudden twist "she has a boyfriend already" wouldn't be outside possibility, though.
