This guy has made it quite clear his attraction to Murakumo as well as how far his pervertness go. He honestly does care for her(he just likes to get a grope in as well though) as seen during the Hair care arc where he was serious for once.

What I'm more amused by is that the "corrected" temperature is a mild fever at most, and during the middle of the day would actually be a normal temperature, but it's treated as an illness that is incapacitating and a "terrible fever" that Admiral can instantly sense.
