I have a bunch of problems with Artery Gear, and yet I can't leave it anyway. I like its setting and its characters, and I wish I was familiar with the story of the original, because Fusion makes several references that make me want to learn more.
I'm actually rather happy this is how they choose to go forward, because my biggest fear when playing a gacha is if it reaches EoS before the story has any kind of satisfying conclusion. I just hope I can actually finish the campaign, because I suck at the game itself.
