I find it odd that she seems to be using an Xbox controller, yet it's hooked up to a PS2 Slim.

Ah, when I was but a small boy new to video games. Jumping up and down, side to side, trying my best to live the game!

I *still* catch myself doing that. And leaning around trying to get a side view of things on the TV. That part's...kinda weird, and I have no idea where it came from.

I think the games are Ace Combat and Gran Turismo, but I have played neither. Can someone confirm?

I believe it's human bodies preparing for real virtual reality.

I used to that when I was a kid!
"Why can't I see the siiiide?? *face touching the border*", but I'm cool with that now... at least until glasses-free 3D comes around and screw everything.

Don't worry, you're not the only one. Natural reaction to wanting to see around that corner, I suppose?

Heads-up display on the right show that it's Sega Rally Revo or 2006.

Some habits never die I guess. Till now, I have a tendency to lean from side to side whenever I play racing games, and flight simulators. Heck, even my dad has a habit of "turning" the controller just so the rally car he was driving turned more.

You should see me play need for speed.
It's like centrifugal force affecting me.
In flying games I do the reverse thing that girl does.
To orientate I lean around so I can see the ground bottomwards. My mom wonders how I can't feel dizzy from that.

That doesn't look like any Ace Combat HUD that I've ever seen, but I haven't played any of the (original releases of the) PS1-era games. Can anyone confirm that the game on the left is, in fact, an Ace Combat title based on the UI?
