That's the British mind. The first thing they connect hot water with is tea.

Even their tanks and AFVs have built-in water heaters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_vessel . :D

California Roll's origin story is kind of mixed. There is a Californian claim as well as a Vancouverite claim.

For those that can't stand the concept of eating raw fish/seafood.

Eh, it's not like you can't get non-fish sushi, even at conveyor places, even outside of the standard egg and tofu ones.

Admittedly, the majority aren't nigiri, but they're still there.

Wait, is the tap primarily designed to be for drinkable hot water or for washing hands? The temperature for tea-making water seems to be way higher than what would be comfortable for hand washing.

Wait, wait, wait. I thought the hot water is meant to make tea! Well at least here, they give us tea bag so hot water is drawn from there.

Well, as already said in the parent:

At least the Brits somewhat knew right away that tap's for hot drinks. Ro-chan almost scalded her hands from one of these taps once.

Yeah, I've never heard of the hand washing thing before. Sounds like a prank someone would play on others not used to seeing that.

    This is...
    CALIFORNIA ROLL
    It's delicious!
    Don't they have California rolls?
    There it is.
    That's HERESY!
    America-originated
It seems that you eat sushi bare-handed!
And with the hot water that comes out from here, you can wash your hands!!
Hot water comes out!? Which means if we were to use it, then...
