The propped up flight deck probably belonged to either Zuikaku (base) or Shoukaku (up to Kai Ni). The lack of significant topside gray area indicates it belongs to the fifth CarDiv. Aside from that, the second CarDiv have only one solid deck-length stripe (the other two are dashed lines); and, the first CarDiv have three irregular deck-length white lines, sometimes dashed, sometimes solid, and their wing-bits are painted with the red/white pattern. In general, both groups also have other white line details on their decks to help identify them.
