Sad that they chose not to reinstate tatsuki. hopefully they keep the cast the same at the very least i swear if they add some generic male protagonist I'm going to riot
It was pure madness, what kind of moron will not take advantage of making a new season from an anime that become popular in just a season. I can't understand this at all.

I can't say anything without ranting, so I'll try to keep it as bearable as I can...
First off, Fuck Kadokawa Secondly, I hope there's enough furor simmering (not quite boiling, but simmering) in Japan that, in due time, sweeping changes are made to the anime industry in how they treat their workers. There's just no other way to say it; it started with envy and ended with stupidity.
They couldn't bring themselves to swallow their pride, simply say, "It's just a case of miscommunication, we apologize. Tatsuki, Yaoyorozu, just go back to making us millions", and just be done with it. That's, literally, all they had to do- sit back and get paid off of something that they put no effort in supporting.
I truly hope that this is the catalyst for some sort of reform because, for what these guys accomplished... at the very least, insane firing and all, they deserved to be treated with some measure of respect from these 'things' masquerading as people (I say 'things' cause I don't know any group people who would cut off a free money supply).
It's a sort of Japanese work ethics I cannot comprehend. It's this idiocy of higher ups acting rigid, inflexible, and primitive even if it comes to the cost of their own profits.
I mean it baffles me why Japanese company are so stubborn in keeping their antiquated, ego-fueled systems when not only customer responses, but the profit numbers are blatantly saying they make stupid decisions.
When your entire country's working ethics is stereotyped as overworking employees, infamously to the point of ruining their familial, social, and personal life, if not to the point of suicide, yet your average industries' productivity per worker is still far under those of countries like Germany and France, why would anyone still think this is a good system?
Even if they are evil corporate suits who cares for nothing but money, why do they stick with this system that clearly isn't beneficial?

Yeah even certain evil corporate suits consider that is a silly idea not to take advantage of popularity of something
