I wonder how high will her luck be in game, she had a well earned reputation of being a "lucky ship" during her active service to the point that not even a single one of her crewmen was ever lost to enemy action (she kinda reminds me of Ushio in that regard).

When fully luckmodded her luck is higher than Yukikaze, both base and Kai, YKK Kai has 99 after luckmod, Jervis Kai has 110 after luckmod

Those were only used by dedicated Escorts during the war. Fleet destroyers were mostly more anti-air and anti-surface focused, ASW was a secondary mission and even then was mostly about simply holding down a submarine while the ship being protected left the area. They didn't carry the specialist ahead throwing weapons aside from a few rare late war exceptions since most of them were so large they tended to mean giving up gun mount forward.
