Monarch here exudes the aura of domination... I sorely wish the same in Ships.
Sure dictate the gun line to your terms by appearing in the most ideal circumstances and making that agonizing AP to work against other battleships, but having the likes of Richelieu chase you down, Bismarck shredding you with secondaries and Amagi's heavy broadside at her tier... she needs an AP buff...

Monarch had a skill similar to Hood which she fires an unique Barrage which describe by someone as "Colonize Shot"

Her guns were obsolescent, deal with it. They're WWI era weapons purposed and later used on Vanguard for cost cutting and availability reasons not because anyone had any illusions that they stacked up favorably to similar caliber weapons of late 30s design, never mind anything bigger.
They gave her a better overall shot pattern, quick fuzes that reduce overpens and help punish cruisers, and super HE shells to compensate vs the other 15 inch gun ships. She should get a range upgrade though 18km is not enough at T8, she needs 20, a handling buff in terms of turn radius and rudder shift wouldn't be out of place either.

This ain't saying much when her direct opposite is practically Roma with "why?" levels of HE and AP that can strike her at max range which likely will be a citadel hit if a shlub mounted an accurizer to reduce her rage dispersion.
Also didn't expect her guns were WW1 or were basically offshoots on the guns aboard Queen Liz and Warspite because ain't that what Vanguard packed since they had a crapton of barrels of BL 15 inch guns?

With Vanguard, it was a combination of having a bunch of BL 15"/42 Mk I barrels in storage and also having the turrets in storage that were removed from Courageous and Glorious when they were converted to CVs.
At any rate Monarch's 15"/45 guns are a completely different design than the 15"/42. They fire the same shells but they're not the same guns. They're basically an enlarged version of KGV's 14"/45 guns, since Monarch is simply an alternate version of KGV. I'm not sure why Wargaming designated Monarch's guns as Mk VII since they would have certainly been designated Mk II if they'd actually been built. Historically there was only one BL 15" gun design the Royal Navy fielded, the BL 15"/42 Mk I. So the next 15" gun would've been Mk II.
