Imagine Mishima having an Awakening only for it to only rip off one side of his face. It'd be so agonizing the rest of the squad would have to hurry to get Mishima out of there and his eye bandaged up. Then he'd keep apologizing because he thinks not being able to get it all off makes him weak.
