This definitely demonstrates that Shibafu can pull it when he does try.
He always had some works in the past, but a lot of them went into Collaboration Contents instead of In-Game Contents for some weird reason (though some of them did get implemented into the game as well), but yeah sometimes he... screws up.. (Ex. Mikuma Summer 2016, Intrepid's Face before Ninja-fix)
Just saying, the design isn't all up to Shibafu himself. And even Intrepid's design was great. Got too into the detail that overall impressions throw viewers off though.

I thought the rigging was too busy. Shibafu's attention to detail worked against him. The life preserver and the antenna farm behind her head *could have* worked, by themselves, but together it was impossible.
I wonder what Akagi and Kaga would think of this....since they could have looked like this back in the 1920s, had they not got almost full carrier (with cruiser guns and multiple flight decks). Just with 16 inch guns (since they were post-Big Seven designs).
