Even so, can't very well say that Japan doesn't get hot - it just doesn't get as hot as where you are.

Japan is definitely a lot more temperate/islandic than Oklahoma. 39C all summer, 3C in the winter down here. Japan's mild weather would be a dream in comparison.

I'd love to live in Japan long enough to enjoy all its seasons, but I don't think I could handle the stress of being a foreigner.

Eh, Tokyo's gotten to almost 40C before, and it went to -4C this year even (a new record!). The weather isn't that mild. (Not that I'd say it's terrible in any way, though.)

Kyushu gets, and stays, humid entirely too long for my liking, though.

I've been to Japan in the summer, and they're not joking about it being hot. It's not so much the heat that gets you but the HEAT + HUMIDITY.

I dare say it's almost as bad as Florida if you walked to get anywhere in Florida.

Well, you kind of need to define where we're talking about as well. Japan spans a similiar set of latitudes to the US east coast north to south. The average temperature in Sapporo during summer for instance barely breaks 20. In the central regions meanwhile the high temperature only actually averages over 30 for one month in Tokyo for instance.

My city of Greensboro isn't known for being amazingly warm, but a quick comparison shows it's actually hotter then Tokyo on average.

Even if you go further south in Japan this doesn't increase that markedly though humidity climbs. I personally find around 30 to be a break point of sorts though, 30 to me anyway feels WAY different then say 35 particularly if you have to do physical work in it (which I do). So topping out around 30 on average is "warm" to me, "hot" is the southwest where 35+ highs is the norm for months on end.

After this i feel someone's gonna do a research paper on thermal expansion of breasts.

This is probably referring to their flight decks, which probably do expand a little IRL when things get warm.
