Well, it's not like they are curbstomping teams that are more capable than them. Spain brought that upon themselves, Russia only defended their goal to death.
Egypt and Saudi Arabia were not that capable, with Egypt only having an incredible player (Salah) and Saudi Arabia losing to their nervousness in the first match (their coach is an Argentinian with less than 5 month in the country, he needed a translator). They lost badly to Uruguay, which is not a team known for the number of goals they score.
