if you need to be proved wrong about eroge games than you're basically admitting your new to hentai. and i know that couldn't possibly be the case. since you know as well as i how many popular eroge games there are out there without needing fan art. some of them are even so popular that they would make anime based spin-offs. so there's really no need to prove you wrong about it.
Fan art is often used to portray characters in new and unusual situations not featured in the actual series. Usually, sexual, because we're human. However, there's no need for that, often, in eroge we already have the characters sexing frequently.*
*This does not apply if the words : sex ratio is extremely high or insanely popular, a la anything Type-Moon.
the fan art for the game came about for his remake or sequel of the game. but other than that it's like bakahoushi said. fan art is unnecessary for a eroge game. pairings, sexual exploits, pretty much all the works found for most fan art is placed in the game already. pointing out fan art for it is more like adding an extra layer to ice cream.
I disagree; a game would have to be pretty large in scope to encompass every last thing that one would find in fanart. and not all fanart has to be sexual in nature mind you.

True. But how much of the fan art IS sexual? And how much sexual content is covered in the game? I'd expect the standard hentai dealings. While this does not mean no fan art may exist, unless a game is obscenely popular, odds are we won't find a lot (or any).
