Just a slice-of-life thing, really. The two stories are separate, in case it wasn't clear, so I'm not sure if you're referring to the whole thing or this latter part.
In a meta sense, probably a bit of snark about how the named characters have way more elaborate designs than everyone else.
Other than that, a short story about a nameless villager who wants some cute shoes to liven up her dull villager life, and what the named characters might look like from an in-universe perspective. My interpretation of the ending would be that she's disillusioned by the "lovely girls" of her imagination being so crude to each other in reality, but there's some space to differ there.
Said like that, it's extremely sharp. But then again, the author does depict Reimu as really familiar. A pity for that noname villager girl. But at least, being anonymous means not getting raped by tentacles in a daily basis in all kind of works.
