The parent image is pending deletion because it's a poor quality rip from the game data itself, and this is a confirmed official artwork by the guys at the English Girls Frontline Wiki. As you can tell, it is better quality because it doesn't have any weird artifacts due to being extracted from game data incorrectly.
In short: Better version of the poorly extracted parent image if that even makes sense.
To note. The player/commander is currently being interrogated
That kind of plot points kinda remind me of one of Yatzee's reviewed, the XCOM2 one ,which goes something like : ...but I thought the commander was me,the one giving orders."The enemy have capture the commander!" "No I'm not,I'm on the couch here".
The OP.CUBE is also feels a bit weird to me for that reason. It was supposed to be some kinda black ops with only a small team of those 4 girls, but in gameplay you just send in your regular echelons, with nothing to try to tied in the story. Some event-only buff for the 404s would've been nice.

It's kinda a gameplay and story segregation. But to note if players are having hard time against them at night, then figure how 404 manage to dodge them and beat the boss at her own game.

Thanks, I know that site, but I don't check the story part for long time.
BTW, do you have the summary of Continuum Turbulence's story?
The story/interrogation is a made-up story we done while m4a1 is moving to rescue us. It is up to us how "heroic" or convincing the story to fool the captors, as they're basically emotionless robots. The ending branches out in Chapter 2, so I can't tell further. But Chapter 3 hasn't being unlock so.
