I just assume their skin is incredibly resistant to sharp points, but then a lot of things we do end up having sharp points one way or another, including full-body armor itself.

I don't know. The same could be asked by how said women can walk around outside during a blizzard wearing a skirt. Or wear uncomfertably high heels. Or corsets that constracts their ribs to their lungs.

Women are just power creatures I guess.

Also, the one in the picture is a monster so it's safe to say there is magic in the mix.
